Our Project
Our projects are meant to achieve the following:
- Empower BAME women in Bristol who have experienced domestic violence by providing a supportive and nurturing environment that builds their confidence and self-esteem.
- Inspire and encourage personal growth by offering opportunities to develop new skills and engage in social activities.
- Help these women become employment-ready, develop strong social skills, and rebuild their lives.
- Support them in becoming self-sustaining, economically active, and free from dependence.
BARRONESS BAROMETER
The project will reduce the isolation of BAME women victims of domestic violence in Bristol and break the barriers into non-traditional employment and training by creating a safe and welcoming environment in which to explore new opportunities and learn new skills.

QUEENS PLATINUM JUBILEE MULTI SPORT FESTIVAL

To celebrate Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we will host a 6-month Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Sport Festival initiative to get 40 women and girls victims of domestic violence to be more active. We will host a multi-activity project including sports activities where BAME women victims of domestic abuse are underrepresented, such as basketball, tennis, volleyball, swimming/diving, and zumba exercises.
